“Be not conformed to this world, but be “TRANSFORMED” by the RENEWING of your mind, that you may prove what that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
Like the butterfly who once crawled on his/her belly through the dirt and mud, experiencing the hard things of life. A life representative of the lowest state of existence. The caterpillar turned butterfly is a testimony of survival. Overcoming unlikely odds and daily life crushing challenges, the little creature prevails to a life spent soaring far above the trails that once keep it victim and prisoner.
Well, like the victorious butterfly who overcomes and finally reach it’s peak, you too can transform your life and circumstances to a higher quality. No matter how low or depressing things might seem. There is HOPE for CHANGE. While it’s true the world tells us that people don’t change and coin such beliefs with clinches like,”you can’t teach an old dog new tricks,” or “once a fool, always a fool”. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
The Bible tells us in Romans 12:2 that we not only change, but we can completely TRANSFORM and become something completely different than what we start out as. It’s like the changeable toy that starts out as a car, but is flexible enough to reshape into a person or building. That’s what it means to transform. You can become something totally different. Dictionary.com defines Transform as to change in form, appearance, or structure; metamorphose; or to change in condition, nature, or character; convert.
